The Churches Mission Statement  is :-

“One Parish – One Church – One Vision. Knowing Christ and Making Him Known”

This commits the whole fellowship who know Christ to making known to others in a way that is clear but non threatening. One of the six groups formed under the Catch the Wind initiative has the task of looking at the many ways in which the Church can effectively evangelise in the Parish and beyond. There are specific evangelistic events such as special services and other occasions of an evangelistic nature to which the uncommitted can be invited. Then there are Start and Alpha courses, specifically for those who are not yet committed to Christ but wish to learn more about what this means. Finally there are many activities in the Church of a more social nature to which all are invited and it is our prayer that people will come to faith through the friendly contact of other Christian. A key element of this is making anyone who comes in contact with the Church feel welcome and accepted.
