St Peter’s Parish has an active youth and children’s ministry.

There are groups for children and young people of all ages. These meet at the various churches.

There is a variety of activities for pre-school up to teenagers. We run youth worship events, short courses such as drama, special family celebrations, regular groups, week-ends away and fun events.

The purpose of our ministry is to encourage children and young people to learn the ways of the Lord. We seek to enable families to see that children are brought up to follow Christ and to empower children and young people to introduce their friends to Christ. As a result of this vision, our ministry is focused on the need to disciple the youth and children within the Christian community and empower them for ministry. They are often involved in our Sunday worship in everything from ICT and sound, through leading worship, to sharing their ministry. Several teams of leaders commit themselves to working with the various groups so that we can build the church of tomorrow as well as acknowledging that these children and young people are already part of the church of today.
