For mums, dads and careers with children from birth up to school age.
We meet together to show and share the love of Jesus. Our aim is to provide a secure, happy and loving place for children and their carers to meet, mix and try out lots of fun activities. The sessions have a Christian focus and include creative craft activities, singing and story telling.
We suggest a contribution of £1 for each child to help cover the cost of materials, refreshments for the children and up keep of the building, etc with a separate small charge for adult refreshments.
Please note that parents / carers are responsible for their own children at all times.
Help would be greatly appreciated with the tidying away of toys, etc at the end of the sessions.
We are able to offer a little practical post-natal support for those mums who would like it. This would generally be for two weeks with the offer of meals provided and / or ironing being taken off your hands!!!! This would begin from the time best suited to you. For more information please speak to Felicity or Steph on a Tuesday morning.
Andrea Rowlinson – a Health Visitor from Avondale Health Centre – joins us on Tuesday mornings. She is able to weigh babies / children and is generally available for help and advice.
For those who might be interested, we endeavour to run a short parenting course called '21st Century Parent' at least once through the year. We will keep you informed of start dates and times as and when appropriate.
You can find out more about St Peters Church including news and information about other activities during the week by contacting the parish office – tel 849411, or by talking to one of our helpers at the sessions.
We look forward to seeing you.
Love, Steph and the team
