Our centre will receive referrals via the freephone number that all potential clients need to phone, in order to access the service, and an appointment is booked into the centre diary by the fully- trained staff who answer the phones in Bradford.
CAP will help anyone regardless of their religious beliefs. CAP aims to ensure that no one receives less favourable treatment on the grounds of race, nationality, religion, age, gender, marital status, sexual orientation or disability.
We do not pay client’s debts for them. CAP Central in Bradford put together a sustainable budget based on their income and living expenses. Any money left over is divided amongst their creditors based on the size of the debt owed to them. These payments are made by CAP on the client’s behalf, but with their own money.
If you or a family member, a friend or acquaintance need of the help of the CAP centre, the person themself needs to call the freephone number. Remember that the service is confidential and no-one needs to visit the Parish office to get help. In special circumstances people known to the church may be visited in a neutral venue rather than in their home for reasons of confidentiality. |
