Jenny Penn was ordained priest in Manchester Cathedral on Saturday 28th June. The Bishops of Manchester, Bolton and Middleton were in attendance for an emotionally charged, spiritually uplifting service. Jenny was supported by members of her family and parishioners from St. Peters and St. Andrews, Ramsbottom. Now that Jenny is ordained priest she will be able to administer the full range of sacraments in the service of the Parish.
Jenny would like to thank everybody for their support and prayers during this time, and especially for the wonderful cakes on the Sunday in the Parish Centre.
