Welcome to St. Peter's

Church Without Walls

In these difficult times we are not held back by our buildings, which are subject to limitations and restrictions at present, but we reach out to all those affected by the impact of COVID-19. We encourage all to look out for each other, particularly those who are vulnerable or self-isolating, and to seek support where necessary.

Please contact us if you need help, prayer or just someone to chat with.

If you have any prayer needs then please email: pray@stpetersparish.info where a small group of folk commit to pray for you in complete confidence.

You may also contact us by email office@stpetersparish.info or by telephone 0800 9540 781.

Repair and Build for the Future

In 2020, St. Peter's Church had it's 180th birthday. Those of us worshipping here today are benefiting from the stewardship and care of previous generations. We want to make sure that St. Peter's is ready to provide a gospel platform for the next 180 years and for future generations of worshippers. However, we a have a number of repairs to carry out.

Phase I of our repairs is to replace the decaying corridors with a new, welcoming and spacious entrance. We have already raised over half the cost ourselves and we are thrilled to report that the hoped for £100,000 grant from Viridor Credits, and further funds have now come in, meaning we have reached our target of £320,000. Thanks to everyone!

As with all building projects, there is a need for us to have a contingency fund, and there will be further on-costs to cover in church so if you haven’t given already and wish to do so, your donation will still be very gratefully received.

Pray with us at 7:14 - UNITE714 initiative

If you have any specific prayer needs then please e-mail:
pray@stpetersparish.info where a small group of people commit to pray for you in complete confidence.

We have prepared a prayer trail for you to use to pray as you walk around the churchyard. You can read this guide on a smartphone or iPad, or print a copy at home. A small number of printed copies are available at the Parish Centre if neither of those options is possible for you. It is all outdoors, so why not arrange to meet up with a friend to pray together?

Preacher's Notebook

The Preacher's Notebook is a short written reflection from a member of our preaching team.
This can be used as part of your weekly study and prayer life to help you to deepen your faith and understanding in Christ. Each week we explore different passages from scripture that will inspire you into an active Christian life.
